How we get started…

After walking into a International Mister Leather (IML) contest in 1980, Randy Bridges found that leather has been a source of comfort and strength for him. With that feeling, he brought it forth in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio and formed Mr. Cincinnati Leather in 2012. In 2017, Randy passed the torch to Brian “Bolt” Donner (former Mr. Tri-State Leather 2014 and 2nd runner up at IML) whom shared the idea of consent bands then in 2019, was one of the first contests in the world to drop “Mr.” to allow contestants to choice their own prefix of “Mr, Ms, or Mx”. Today, Cincinnati Leather is now a 501c3 organization and continues to make strives to be a driving force of equality and genuine love.

Cincinnati Leather is a non-profit social organization dedicated to supporting and enhancing the Leather, Kink, and Queer communities in the Greater Cincinnati Area by providing opportunities for education and fellowship.
